Can I arm the alarm while I'm at home ?
Yes, you have a part arm, which activates part of the alarm system, such as doors and windows. This depends on your alarm system setup.
It will be easier for you to have the alarm connected while you are at home, and it also ensures that you and your family are protected at night. This is also good if you have pets. Both you and your pets can move freely in the home while the magnetic contacts secure your home.
What do I do if I want my alarm system serviced ?
Our Service team can carry out a full remote diagnostic test on your alarm system. This test will include checking the arming and disarming functionality on the alarm. Checking the signals from the alarm panel and checking the alarm for any faults with sensors. If any faults are discovered that would require an onsite visit our customer support team will arrange an appointment date with you.
I accidently set off my alarm but then quickly entered my User Code. Should I expect a call from the Monitoring Centre?
The alarm is designed to allow you to promptly cancel a false alarm before it sends a signal to the Monitoring Centre. This reduces false alarms.
What do the Panic Buttons on the alarm panel do exactly?
They send a signal to the Monitoring Station that you require Garda, Fire, or medical assistance.
Will the monthly fee increase with inflation?
No, your monthly agreed fee for services is fixed for the period of the agreed minimum term.
Will I own the alarm system?
Yes, once you have paid the agreed system price and completed the term of the contract period you will own the alarm system equipment.
If there is a power cut, will my alarm still work?
The back-up battery in the alarm panel will work for 6-8 hours.
